Balancing work and family priorities can be challenging and sometimes you need care in a pinch. Fortunately, you have a benefit that enables you to find backup care when regular care isn't available. Our experienced team helps you find fill-in care fast. Our backup care programs are vetted so you can rest easy knowing that your family is in good hands.

You must be employed by the local office in order to utilize the benefit.

For children: From sick days to late nights at work, we’ve got you covered.

Backup Care

  • Each job/day has a 4-hour min. and 10-hour max

Personal Network

  • All days on the form must be submitted within 30 days of occurring

Backup Care Cancellation Policy

For any cancellations made after a Backup Care provider has been assigned, but more than 24 business hours before backup care is scheduled to start, the eligible employee will be charged half of the applicable co-pay for the day. When an Eligible Employee cancels a backup care request within 24 business hours of the scheduled start time and when a backup care provider has been assigned, the Eligible Employee will be charged the applicable full day co-pay and a day backup care will be subtracted from the yearly backup care allowance.
