What childcare services are offered?

Babysitters

  • Look after children on an hourly basis, usually in their home, in order to allow their parents to enjoy leisure time. Babsitters are often pupils/students. They receive payment for the service they offer, which they negotiate with the parents.

Nannies

  • Providing full-time or part-time nannies to care for the whole family at home.
In many cases, preparing food is a responsibility for the nanny. The range of such household activities is flexible and must be negotiated individually with each family.

Childminder

  • Independent childminders can take care of up to 5 children in their own home.
Using the reference frame, it provides you with a straightforward framework for each child to help them develop. The times are very flexible. This support provided is based upon the child's age and maturity, its needs and interests.
Offering services as a childminder, is dependent upon official authorization from the Youth Care Office. This requires an appropriate qualification and evidence of the availability of adequate rooms.

Costs

Your employer covers your service and advisory costs. You must bear the costs of the actual care service.

We would be delighted to advise you on all legal and financial arrangements and would be happy to help you with the application.
