Balancing work and family priorities can be challenging and sometimes you need care in a pinch. Fortunately, you have a benefit that enables you to use a caregiver or nursery/center of your choice and be reimbursed a portion of your cost that exceeds your copay. You are fully responsible for all vetting of the care provider and must arrange the details including timing, insurance, duties, and payment, etc. directly with the provider. On the date of care, you will pay your provider directly and then submit a reimbursement claim to internationalcareatwork@care.com within 30 days of when the care took place. When approved, your Backup Care day utilization count will be deducted from your annual allotment and you will be reimbursed within 4-6 weeks.
